This robust spatula is designed for serious cooking — excellent for flipping and serving in large cast iron skillets. Crafted in our small family shop in Mingus, Texas.

Here’s a true Texas classic this spatula handles beautifully:

Texas Style Chicken Fried Steak & Gravy (serves 4)

Ingredients:

• 4 cube steaks

• 2 cups all-purpose flour

• 1 tsp salt

• 1 tsp black pepper

• 1 tsp garlic powder

• 1 tsp paprika

• 2 large eggs

• ½ cup buttermilk

• ½ cup milk (for gravy)

• 2 cups beef broth

• ¼ cup vegetable oil or lard

Directions:

1. Season and double-dredge steaks in seasoned flour and egg-buttermilk mixture.

2. Fry in hot oil until golden brown on both sides. Remove and keep warm.

3. Make gravy using pan drippings, flour, beef broth, and milk. Simmer until thickened.

4. Serve steaks smothered in gravy.
