Hand-Forged Horseshoe Handles – Rustic Strength from Arrow M Iron Works

We’ve been forging these beautiful horseshoe handles in our Mingus, Texas shop for years. Each one starts with a real horseshoe and is carefully shaped by hand into a strong, functional pull handle.

Whether you’re outfitting a barn door, upgrading kitchen cabinets, building custom furniture, or adding character to a gate, these handles bring authentic Texas ranch style and legendary durability.

We offer personalization — different lengths, hole patterns, or even custom finish if you’d like.

Perfect For: • Barn & stable doors • Garden gates • Rustic furniture pulls • Interior cabinetry

Here’s a hearty ranch classic that pairs perfectly with this handle in your kitchen:

Ranch Style Cowboy Pinto Beans (serves 6–8)

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb dried pinto beans, rinsed and sorted

  • 6 cups water or beef broth

  • 1 large onion, chopped

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • ½ lb smoked ham hock or bacon, chopped

  • 1 Tbsp chili powder

  • 1 tsp ground cumin

  • 1 tsp salt (or to taste)

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 1–2 jalapeños, sliced (optional for heat)

  • Fresh cilantro and cornbread for serving

Directions:

  1. Soak beans overnight or use quick-soak method.

  2. In a large pot or Dutch oven, sauté onion, garlic, and ham/bacon until fragrant.

  3. Add beans, water/broth, chili powder, cumin, salt, pepper, and jalapeños.

  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce to low heat. Cover and simmer 2–2½ hours until beans are tender.

  5. Taste and adjust seasoning. Mash slightly if you like thicker beans.

  6. Serve hot with fresh cilantro and warm cornbread.

These handles aren’t just hardware — they’re pieces of Texas blacksmithing tradition you can use every day.

Personalization & custom orders welcome.
